Lucas Torreira speaks on Life at Arsenal

Arsenal new recruit Lucas Torriera has expressed his delight at joining the Emirates side, stating that he has enjoyed love from the fans.

Torrierra joined the North London side in the summer transfer window with a fee of £27 million from Italian side Sampdoria and he has since settled down at the club.

The Uruguay midfielder had to wait a number of games before having to be on the starting XI as he was placed on the bench by Matteo Guendouzi before coming back to regain his position.

He has since become the solid rock in front of the Arsenal defence by providing a cover that has helped stabilized the defence and the middle.

This has got to the heart of the fans and they have shown their love for the seeming shy player with chants in is praise.

In his reaction, Torreira said football is much loved in England but most importantly he has been shown special love by fans which have made him feel very much at home.

Torreira has contributed a lot to why Arsenal have gone 11 games winning streak and look to continue same against Crustal Palace at the weekend.

The North London side are currently fourth in the Premier League table.
