Liverpool worried! will Mo Salah’s injury affect his game against Huddersfield?

Liverpool will face Huddersfield in the EPL games next weekend but there are possibilities that Egypt international Mo Salah will not start for the Reds.

Last night, during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers between Egypt and Swaziland, Mo Salah picked up a leg injury at the 88th minute of the match.

This took place after the Liverpool star scored a stunning goal directly from the corner – which put an end to speculations that he was losing confidence to score goals.

Mo Salah following the injury was seen limping out of the pitch as Egypt went ahead to play against Swaziland with a 10 man squad having previously used their three substitutes.

The game ended 4 goals to 1 in favour of the Egyptian.

Egypt Assistant coach Hany Ramzy via Al-Ahram news outfit claim Mo Salah injury is “only a muscle strain but he will undergo medical scans to determine the length of the injury”.

Liverpool FC will be hoping the injury will not be too serious to affect his performance in the ongoing campaign.

According to the report, Mo Salah is expected not to play in Swaziland on Tuesday.

Mo Salah now has 13 goals to his name for Egypt in the AFCON qualifiers.

Liverpool will be playing an away game against Huddersfield in the EPL next Saturday.
