Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he won’t make any signing when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
Klopp talked about the upcoming January transfer window in his recent press conference before his teams draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
According to the German tactician, Liverpool will only make a transfer if something crazy happens.
Klopp has had to deal with the absence of the midfield duo of Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson and that has made his options in the middle of the park limited.
Summer signing and Guinean international star Naby Keita started the new campaign in the Liverpool XI but his Reds career has been affected by a hamstring problem.
He joined Liverpool in a big money move from German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig during the summer’s transfer window.
Keita who missed the Arsenal game with the aforementioned hamstring injury as confirmed by Klopp.
He was joined on the sidelines by club skipper Jordan Henderson for the Arsenal match.
England international Henderson also missed the game as a result of a hamstring problem as the Reds failed to secure a win against the Unai Emery led Arsenal.
