Liverpool star player Emre Can has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield in recent times, and it appears he is actually destined to leave the club when summer comes.
The Germany international is expected to join Serie A side Juventus, and it was recently reported that the Italian heavyweights are ready to announce his signing after Liverpool’s Champions League final against Real Madrid later this month.
Emre, who won’t be featuring in the game against Zidane’s side on May 26 due to injury, has been ignoring a new contract at Liverpool and will be leaving Merseyside as a free man at the end of this season.
Last week, some news outlet reported that Can has agreed a five-year deal with Juventus and the player will find himself playing at Turin from next season.
Corriere Dello Sport, however, made it known that Juventus are patiently waiting to announce the deal after the Champions League final against Real Madrid on May 26.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had hoped to persuade the player to remain with him at Merseyside, but things wasn’t as he hoped.
Emre was demanding a contract that will make him earn over £200,000 each week – but it appears Liverpool’s management are not ready to bring something like that up.
