Rafinha

Liverpool are prepared to sign Barcelona midfielder Rafinha this summer, with reports that the Spanish giants are ready to sell.

The 24-year-old has been surplus requirement at the Camp Nou this term under Luis Enrique and it appears his situation will not get better soon with reports in Spanish outlet Marc claiming that his time at Barca might be coming to an end soon.

There are speculations that Liverpool could be ready to launch a summer bid for Rafinha but might compete for his signature from Juventus who have also been credited with an interest in the midfielder, with reports that the Serie A giants will launch a £22m raid for the midfielder.

Barcelona have also been linked with a move for Liverpool attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho and will hope to use Rafinha as a sweetner in a potential deal as speculation over the future of the midfielder intensifies.

It is understood that Barca are considering a player-plus-cash offer for the Reds, which will see Rafinha who have scored just seven goals in 26 appearances this season join Anfield. Although, Jurgen Klopp is said to be reluctant to allowing Coutinho leave the club and will play hard-ball with the Catalan giants.
