Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has given clubs interested in Thomas Muller some hope of getting him next year after he admitted himself that the player is not happy at the club.
SportBild made it known that the premier league trio of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all very much interested in the German forward and each of them made summer enquiries for him.
Muller struggled vehemently last season after he was being forced to play second fiddle to Robert Lewandowski in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
The 27-year-old was also put on the bench as his side kicked-off their defence of their Bundesliga title with a 2-0 victory against Werder Bremen some days back.
And his manager Ancelotti, speaking recently about the talented player, admits he sympathises with his current situations, even though he noted that the player is very much fit and is in good shape.
‘I speak everyday with [him] Thomas. It is normal that a player is not happy [should] he sits on the bench.’
The former Chelsea boss indicates he won’t be swayed by emotions and past performances in his selection processes, saying ‘Every player has to give the best.’
‘I can’t guarantee anyone’s place, this also applies to [Thomas] Muller’ he said.
Thomas will need to work extra hard to force his way back into Carlo’s plans considering the arrival of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid this summer.
