Liverpool fans left drooling over Joe Gomez performance

Liverpool may have finally gained back their touch, this was after they ‘destroyed’ Serbian side, Red Star Belgrade right at Anfield in the Uefa Champions League.

The match against Red Star Belgrade saw Liverpool super trio of Roberto Firmino, Mo Salah, and Sadio Mane right back in action.

Firmino scored the first goal, Mo Salah added a brace to it before Sadio Mane went on to give the Reds the fourth goal after he had lost an opportunity to score earlier.

Apart from the trio strikers, Liverpool center back defender and England international, Joe Gomez also put up some top performances last night.

Joe Gomez once again formed a perfect combinational with Virgil Van Dijk at the centre back.

Every effort by Red Star Belgrade players to penetrate into the Reds goal area through the 21 years old England international was thwarted by the ace center back.

Joe Gomez was dominating in every area last night, he was up to the physical challenge from the visiting side.

The young defender hardly stretched his legs but the rare occasion he got to do so the visitors were no match for his athleticism.
