Ezri Konsa’s impressive performances has caught the attention of a handful of top English clubs, and the player is now set to move on to a higher level in his career.
And recently, his manager at Charlton, Karl Robinson, made it known that the 20-year-old is ready to leave his side next January, which will revive hopes for the clubs interested in his signature.
The England U20 star player has evolved into one of the best players playing in the League One, and he is now a regular at Charlton after coming through the club’s academy to become a first-team player last season.
He also played a part in his country’s triumph in the U20 World Cup championships in South Korea last summer.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have expressed interest in signing Konsa during the past summer transfer window, alongside Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal.
No deal could be sealed for the talented player before the transfer window was slammed shut, and he remained at the League One for the new campaign.
However, it was made known that clubs interested in him could revive their interest when January comes, with manager Robinson saying at a fans’ meeting this week that Ezri will likely leave his team next January.
‘If I was [Konsa] I would be looking to go in January. [However] we should look for a minimum of £5million.’ Karl said.
