Arsenal boss Unai Emery has blasted French striker Alexandre Lacazette for his mistake that cost the team the second penalty which led to a 2 – 2 draw.

Lacazette’s carelessness had led to Wilfried Zaha winning a penalty after being fouled by Granit Xhaka.

It was well converted by Luka Milivojevic who scored the second goal in the game from the spot to hand Palace a 2-2 draw.

Emery argued that mistakes are allowed as he is not free from making any but affirmed that they needed to be learnt from and not cause a loss in concentration and confidence.

The former PSG boss said the former Lyon striker was made such error because he was a bit less in his thinking and that to him is unacceptable especially as it cost the team their 2-1 lead.

Emery, therefore, express the need to learn from mistakes made on the pitch and also continue on development of mentality and the use of the ball as well.

The manager expressed disappointment in his inability to win the game within the last 10 minute despite his efforts to have a comeback.
