Manchester United target Kalidou koulibaly is happy with the Naples and he’s not thinking of leaving, that’s according to Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The former Real Madrid and Chelsea manager has advised the Red Devils to pull out of the race for the defender because he’s happy with the Naples.
It was reported that koulibaly isn’t happy with the way he was treated by some fans in a League fixture late last year.
The no-nonsense centre-back was racially abused by some fans in December and that made him leave the pitch, while the game was eventually postponed.
Following the incident, English media reported in the same month that he is unhappy in Italy and could be heading to Premier League in the winter window.
However, Ancelotti has reiterated that koulibaly hasn’t thought of leaving the Naples neither has he told him of his decision to leave Italy this month.
“In England, they write that Koulibaly can leave because of the problem of racism. He never showed it, he wants to stay in Naples and in Italy, a country he likes very much” he said.
Manchester United manager Gunnar Solskjaer is obviously shopping for a new centre-back at the ongoing transfer market as he’s not content with the quality of his backline.
Despite keeping three clean sheets in their last three fixtures, the Norwegian believes some changes needed to be made at the back of the pitch before the end of the month.
One of the changes includes sanctioning Marcos Rojo’s move away from Old Trafford while he brings the Napoli defender to the team.
However, that plan might fail to materialize as Ancelotti isn’t ready to partway with the competent and reliable defender.
