Manchester City star tip Manchester United for Premier League glory

Manchester City attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has said that it is becoming a two-team race for the English Premier League title race between the two Manchester clubs.

Pep Guardiola’s team have made a strong start to the League campaign, dropping only two points from the first 24 available points to climb to the top of the English Premier League log.

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United are two points adrift after making a good start of their own in the months of August and September, but the Belgium international attacking midfielder admits that neither team can afford to slip-up if they are to stay afloat at the top.

Asked if the two Manchester clubs will fight it out for first the top price, the Chelsea flop told ESPN: “For the moment I [Kevin De Bruyne] think so, but everybody’s still there. It is so early in the season, if a team lose two or three matches you go back to a lower position on the log. We [Manchester City] have to maintain this hopefully.”

Manchester City have the best goal difference of any team in the English Premier League history after eight games, netting 29 goals and conceding only four.
