Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed he is not certain about the severity of Jordan Henderson’s injury during their clash against Manchester City last Saturday.
The English ace was forced off in the 64th minute of the match after he was seen limping and was replaced by Divock Origi and there was a confusion whether the move was tactical or due to an injury problem.
After the match, Liverpool boss clarified that it was not a tactical decision but due to injury.
He said: ‘It was not tactical, It was a kind of injury with the heel. I was aware he was limping a bit. I don’t know exactly. I hope it’s not too serious but I cannot say.’
Henderson has been in a brilliant form for the Reds this season playing every game and made more passes than any other players in the League.
Jurgen Klopp will be gutted to lose the midfielder after the loss of Phillipe Coutinho to injury and Sadio Mane who joins Senegal on African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
The Reds have maintained their impressive form in the Premier League this season, with excellent work rate among players but still needs to work on their defensive which has shipped in some cheap goals in this campaign.
