Man United player Juan Mata has revealed that he is interested in staying with the Red Devils but he is being stopped by the nature of the deal handed to him by the club.
Juan Mata joined the Red Devils from the West London outfit in 2014 for £37 million and has since established himself into the team.
With his contract set to run out, it is claimed that Juan Mata has demanded a deal for two years but the Red Devils management is unwilling to give their nod.
Although, Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that he is interested in keeping Juan Mata as the player has been impressive under him so far this season.
However, the Red Devils are hoping to storm the coming summer transfer market to add more strength to the team. It is claimed that the former forward has already told the club the players he wishes to keep and the ones he wants to sell.
The Red Devils had a very slow start of the season but that has been corrected with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who took charge of the team last year December as an interim boss.
There will, therefore, be no surprises should the Red Devils let go of Juan Mata.
