Journalist Believes Liverpool Will Splash Cash On These Players In January

Journalist Duncan Castles is certain that Premier League table-toppers Liverpool will spend money on players when the upcoming transfer market reopens in a few weeks time.

The journalist spoke about Liverpool and transfers on the Transfer Window Podcast.

Duncan Castles revealed that Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) have complete trust in the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp and that they are ready to back him again in January.

Liverpool have already spent over £200m on players in the last two transfer windows and the signings have propelled Liverpool to the top of the table.

Signings like Virgil Van Dijk, Naby Keita and Fabinho have played their part in the Reds’ ascent to the top of the Premier League table at the expense of champions Manchester City.

Liverpool secured top spot on the Premier League table after beating Bournemouth 4-0 in the first game of Matchweek 16 matches courtesy the treble from star forward Mohamed Salah and an own goal from Cherries defender Steven Cook.
