Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is not happy with the duo of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial for their unpleasant performances against Brighton on Friday night.
For Brighton, the win has given them the chance to play in the premier league next season. For Manchester United, the defeat means they lost to all three newly-promoted sides away from home this season.
No one thought the red devils would lose to a side like Brighton (considering how they confidently won Arsenal last time). Since Romelu Lukaku picked an injury against the Gunners, manager Jose Mourinho chose to include the duo of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in his starting XI.
Rashford took up the number 9 role on Friday night, but the young chap failed to impress anyone (alongside Martial)
At the end of the game, an angry Mourinho showed his annoyance with both players.
The Portuguese tactician hit back at those who criticise him for always playing Romelu Lukaku every time, suggesting both Rashford and Martial are not good enough.
Both guys have been linked with moves away from Old Trafford ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, and it appears the Portuguese boss won’t stop any of them from leaving his side at the end of this season.
Manchester United still sit on the second spot of the premier league table and are likely to finish the term on the same spot.
