Chelsea Legend Provides Update On Hazard Transfer

Former Chelsea defender John Terry has provided a transfer update on Blues talisman Eden Hazard who has been linked with an exit from the club.

The Blues legend is hopeful that the Belgian international star will stay at the club beyond his current deal which expires at the end of next season.

John Terry gave an update on the situation of Eden Hazard at Chelsea while he was answering a question from a fan via Instagram.

Chelsea fans have been thrown into a state of fear with the possibility that star player Eden Hazard could leave the club amidst strong interest from Champions League holders Real Madrid.

Former Lille star Hazard has been a long-term target for Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid dating back to last summer.

Real Madrid are still yet to replace former talisman Cristiano Ronaldo who left the club for Italian Serie A club Juventus at the start of this campaign.

The Los Merengues have struggled a great deal since Ronaldo left the club in July in what was a club-record deal for the Italians.

Portuguese national team captain Ronaldo was the Spanish giants’ top scorer in each of the nine seasons that he spent at the club before his transfer to Juventus last summer.
