Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been urged to release four players so as to create more space for new additions to the team in the summer.
Former Liverpool player John Aldridge said, in one of his write-up for Liverpool Echo, that the Reds have many ‘deadwoods’ in the team and its time Klopp sanction their sale to any interested clubs in the summer.
“Jurgen Klopp might look to move on three or four in the summer,” he said.
Divock Origi, Alberto Moreno, Lazar Markovic and Daniel Sturridge aren’t featuring regularly under the German manager and they could be the four players John Aldridge is referring to.
The listed players have failed to nail down permanent spots in the team due to more established and in-form players ahead of them in the pecking order.
Divock Origi looked reborn and has been wonderful in all the matches he’s played so far this term, unfortunately for him, Sadio Mane, Salah and Firmino remain untouchables at Anfield.
The Anfield legend also commends the Reds hierarchies for their commitment to seeing that all their in-form and impressive players have extended their contracts.
In 2018, Salah, Mane and Firmino all put pen to paper to sign a new deal which means they won’t be disturbed by any club or any transfer speculations.
