Manchester United Seriously Considering Stunning Deal For Talented £60m Midfielder

Manchester United are considering a summer swoop for Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez, according to reports.

The Colombian midfielder has not had the best of times under Zinedine Zidane at the Santiago Bernabeu due to his lack of chances, drawing reports that he wants to leave the club at the end of the season.

Reports in Spanish outlet AS claim that Rodriguez is keen on proving himself under Zidane but the Real boss is unimpressed by the player’s performances and has told him to leave the club this summer.

The reports also have it that the only way Rodriguez could remain at Real Madrid is if he impresses Zidane before the end of the current campaign.

Manchester United have been credited with an interest in the Colombian as Jose Mourinho looks for quality additions to his current squad but there are speculations that Inter Milan and Juventus are also vying for the midfielder’s signature.

James Rodriguez’s wife, Daniela had earlier hinted that her hubby might leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer despite being happy at the club, she said: ‘James is very focused, it is a very personal decision,

‘He is happy, but when he has to make the decision, he will do so.

‘I cannot promise anything, but James wants to continue with Real Madrid and I love Madrid too. I am really happy in Spain and I want to stay here.

‘He is super happy, always working and trying to improve himself, to do what he has to do.

‘Obviously I want him to play more, to say that wouldn’t be a lie.’
