Isco plus cash in exchange for Hazard? Why Sarri must ignore Madrid’s swap deal

Last season’s Champions League winners Real Madrid remain keen on Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard as reports suggest they are eyeing another big-money move for his signature.

The Los Blancos have been trailing the Belgian since 2016 but they’ve failed to make Roman Abramovich dance to their tune.

However, Madrid manager Santiago Solari — just like his predecessor Zinedine Zidane — believe he stands a chance to lure him to the Spanish Capital in January.

In his plan to see the playmaker at Santiago Bernabeu, reports via OK Diario revealed on Thursday that the former Madrid Castilla’s manager is ready to offer Isco as a makeshift for Hazard’s signature.

The Spanish attacking midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at Santiago Bernabeu as he seems not to be in Solari’s plan.

To further worsened his situation, the 26-year-old who joined the Los Blancos from Malaga in 2013 is not regularly seen in training sessions.

He’s reportedly having a negative influence in the dressing room and Solari can’t endure the player’s attitude any longer.

Eden Hazard is in his usual blistering form, no manager would want to exchange him for a player who hasn’t been featuring prominently.

Isco is looking more like a shadow of himself. He hardly scores goals while his overall performances so far this season were nothing close to what the Belgian has offered to the Blues.

He has played 11 La Liga matches mostly as a substitute but has only managed just one goal.

Eden Hazard’s is one of the most versatile players in the world. He can feature as a winger where he often makes life difficult for opponents.

His dribbling skills at either flank of the attack are out of this world and Isco can’t match the player’s impressive dribbling ability at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard can equally be deployed as a playmaker, depending on Sarri’s tactical approach.

Though Isco is a good playmaker, his ability from the wings remains in doubt and untested.

There are many midfielders in the team and most of them aren’t getting much time on the pitch. Cesc Fabregas and Drinkwater were frozen out of the team by Sarri. There’s no need to add another playmaker to the team in January.

The Spaniard might struggle at Chelsea as he has never stepped out of the Spanish League in his career so far.

His compatriot and former teammate Alvaro Morata is still struggling to gain his ground at Stamford Bridge despite playing in his second season. Hence, Isco might likely struggle to hit the ground running in the team
