Injury update on Liverpool player Alexander Oxlade Chamberlain
Liverpool player and England international, Alexander Oxlade Chamberlain was spotted in the fans area during the UEFA nations league between England and Spain which ended in a defeat for the Three Lions.
Oxlade Chamberlain, who is currently out of form following an injury during the UEFA Champions League tournament in a match between Liverpool and Italian club AS Roma said it has not been easy.
The Liverpool player disclosed he has been trying to stay positive as he misses playing football.
But he added that he is improving and that he is trying everything possible to speed up his recovery.
Oxlade Chamberlain disclosed that he was not excited about being in the fan mode when he was supposed to be in action for his home country.
He, however, appreciated the effort of the England squad following their 2 – 1 defeat to Spain as he believes they can improve better under coach Gareth Southgate.
According to medics at Anfield, Oxlade Chamberlain will be out of action for Liverpool all through this season and is expected to make a return next season.
Despite the absence of Chamberlain, Liverpool have gone ahead to keep a clean sheet as they currently sit at the top of the EPL table.
