How United potential deal would cost Man City £14m loss

Manchester United are reportedly interested in the signature of German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund young star Jadon Sancho with a fee of about £100 million.

The Red Devils and the French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain are all in the race for the star winger who has come up to the scene to become one of the best players in the Bundesliga with about 9 goals in 11 games.

Should the Red Devils succeed in the signature of Jadon Sancho, it is claimed that Man City will lose a whopping £14 million as a result of a clause in his transfer from the Citizens to the German side in 2017.

The Citizens had included a clause o a 15% sell-on clause for anything above the £8 million Dortmund bought him for which means City will get £13.8 million should he be secured for £100 million.

However, Man City could look to secure the signature of Jadon Sancho for the second term by activating the clause which allows them the right to keep the player.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils will not stop in an attempt to snap up Jadon Sancho after making him a major target for the summer transfer window.
