Emerging reports claim that Manchester United are plotting a replacement for Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea in style by bringing in young goalkeeper and EFL Championship Reading lad Coniah Boyce-Clarke to the Old Trafford.

The whole idea is to have Coniah Boyce-Clarke understudy the former Real Madrid goalkeeper so as to have him grow into a better stopper.

Sky Sports report that Coniah Boyce-Clarke has shown big potentials, sharing same similarities with the top class stopper which makes the Red Devils keen to sign him as early as in the January transfer window so that he can begin immediately.

Coniah Boyce-Clarke is only 15 years of age but his growth has been rapid that he has kept the post for both the U18 and U23 youth teams for his side.

The report claims new United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will stop at nothing until he secures the signatures the signature of the young lad with suggestions that his EFL club will be willing to let him go for just a compensation fee.

Meanwhile, suggestions are that United are unhappy with the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper for refusing to sign a new deal with the club some weeks ago before a clause to have him remain at the Old Trafford for another year was triggered.
