How Liverpool Players Can Become Legends

Former Liverpool midfielder Paul Ince has told the Reds’ players that they can become legends at the club if they manage to beat Manchester City to the Premier League title.

Liverpool are yet to win the Premier League title despite their illustrious history.

The Reds are arguably the most successful team in England after winning five European titles and 18 league titles but the Premier League trophy has been elusive.

They have not won the league since it was revamped into the Premier League format at the start of the 1992/93 season.

Paul Ince told Paddy Power that Liverpool players can become legends if they manage to win the Premier League.

Liverpool last won a league title in 1990 (29 years without a league title).

According to Paul Ince, Liverpool can capitalise on the fact that Manchester City are feeling the effects of their chase for four trophies going by their last game against West Ham United.

Former Wolves player Ince said that the conservative approach adopted by Manchester City towards the end of the last game against West Ham United pointed to the fact that they were feeling the effects in the race for the Premier League title.

Liverpool have a one-point lead at the top of the table.
