Chelsea duo of Pedro and Willian have both played fewer games for the side this season than last campaign. The 3:4:3 setup always had one space for one of them on the other side of Eden Hazard, and they both featured in about the same number of times as they each had a run of good form.
The switch to a regular 3:5:2 formation this campaign has seen less playing action for the attacking duo, and Brazil international winger Willian has surely been the preferred option of the pair, coming off the substitute bench on more occasions than the Spain international forward.
It looks as though we may be getting to the end of the ex-Barcelona star’s time at Stamford Bridge, and if the club starts seeking replacement they should not look further than the Eredivisie, where Mexico international forward Hirving Lozano is shining like million stars in his first season in European football.
After his €8million transfer in the summer, he’s now thought to be worth €22m on transfermarkt, still a good price for a player with the speed and good technique to properly replace Pedro.
The Blues are currently going through goal-scoring crisis as they have failed to find the net in their last three matches in all competitions while first-choice striker Alvaro Morata, has only scored two goals in his last 11 League matches, which call for much worry.
