The departure of Arsenal chief executive, Ivan Gazidis from the club to AC Milan has brought about major changes in the North London club.
Gazidis confirmed the end of his ten years spell at Arsenal after joining the club in 2008.
He was part of the building process at Arsenal that gave the team a firm financial backbone in addition to overseeing the end of former Manager, Arsene Wenger and the coming of a new manager, Unai Emery.
However, life must move on at the Emirates and it was a quick one to announce the duo of Raul Sanllehi and Vinai Venkatesham to take new and bigger roles at the club.
Howbeit, Sanllehi is now the new ‘head of football’ for the Gunners, while Venkatesham is named the new managing director of the North London side.
The pronouncement on Sanllehi and Venkatesham are promotions for the duo with the former formerly the head of football relations.
This was immediately made public in an official statement by Arsenal on Twitter on Tuesday.
Raul Sanllehi in his reaction, expressed delight with the development, noting that he had just joined the club a few months ago and was immediately trusted with the responsibility.
He promised to do his best in ensuring that the strong values of the club are sustained for a better future.
