Fred join in pre-season training, shirt number unveiled

For the first time Man United new Midfielder, Fred joined his new teammates for training in the US as they continue their World Tour.

The Red Devils have signed Fred from Shakhtar at a transfer fee worth £52 million and he happens to be the only major player signed so far by Man United.

As they hope to sign at least two more players before the close of the transfer window, however, they have been faced with a lot of disappointment.

Fred is just arriving at Man United because he went along his home country, Brazil to the World Cup tournament in Russia but he remained on the bench all through before the South American team were defeated as he didn’t play a single match.

Apart from Fred, the Red Devils goalkeeper, David De Gea also joined the team after a spell in the World Cup.

However, Fred may actually not participate in Manchester United next match as they are set to play against Real Madrid in the International Championships Cup.

And another thing his shirt number has been revealed, Fred will put on the shirt No 17 which was previously worn by Blind who has moved to Ajax.
