Former Arsenal boss Wenger already ‘in talks’

Emerging reports reveal that former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was being discussed by Bayern Munich board as a possible replacement for Niko Kovac who is not having it good at the club.

The French boss has been jobless since the end of last season having parted ways with the North London side after a 22-year reign at the club. He was therefore replaced by former PSG boss Unai Emery.

Wenger decided to take a break away from football after leaving the Emirates Stadium as he resulted to travelling and painting but he has already hinted that life has not been interesting without being on the pitch.

The French boss hinted that he will be returning back to management in the New Year and has been linked with a number of clubs including French outfit Paris Saint Germain.

The German Bundesliga giants are currently fifth in the table and nine points behind Borussia Dortmund which is unacceptable to the club as they seek to review his appointment.

Therefore a report from Germany claims the former Gunners boss his being considered by Bayern chiefs during the course of their meeting and might be approached for the job before the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
