After all, It seems Manchester United are going to eventually sign Victor Lindelof. Even though the transfer saga has dragged on for so long, reports emerging the media indicates that the topclass defender is finally going to be a United player before the end of the ongoing transfer session.
The major hindrance to the move was due to the fact that Benfica were reluctant to make a sell-on payment to the Swedish defender’s former club Vasteras.
However, the Mirror revealed that the dilemma has been resolved because Vasteras have finally come to an agreement with the Portuguese giant.
Even though Benfica’s coach didn’t featured the 22-year-old defender in the cup games against Pacos and Vizela, he actually returned to help Benfica in the 2-0 away win against Vitoria. The total number of games he has featured for Benfica this season so far is now 23.
