Ferdinand exposes Mourinho’s weakness, why he struggles with Pogba

There are indications that the reason why French midfielder, Paul Pogba has failed to perform at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho is that the Portuguese manager has no idea of how to make use of the player.

One will wonder that Pogba was an interesting player at Juventus before his coming to the Old Trafford and has yet to replicate same at United and his outing at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, in addition to scoring at the final confirms the special player that he is.

So, the fact that he has been living in his shadows in United despite the big financial investment on him makes Rio Ferdinand expose Mourinho’s inability to use the player rightly.

Ferdinand says the former Juventus’ position has not been rightly used by the former Chelsea boss.

The former United defender says the player should be played according to his mentality just like Pogba who likes to be the main man in the team.

He said his ego mentality and being the main man should determine how he should be used by the manager

According to him, Mourinho needs to find out what the player’s hunger and desire is and place him in a position that fits that mentality.
