Bad News For Man United, Target Rules Out Summer Move

RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg has ruled out the possibility of leaving this summer amid reports over a potential move.

Manchester United are said to have make approach for the midfielder as Jose Mourinho intensify his plans to bring in reinforcement to his side ahead of next season.

Prior reports suggested that having pulled out of a deal to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic as the Italians continue to drag their foot on a potential deal, the Red Devils have contacted Forsberg’s representatives over a possible move to the Old Trafford.

Mourinho is said to have identified the 25-year-old has an ideal alternative to Perisic and will try to lure him to the Premier League.

However, the Swedish star who was an integral part of the Leipzig side that stunned the Bundesliga with a second place finish, with 19 assists and eight goals to his name, has come out to dismiss reports that he is nearing a summer move to Old Trafford.
