Arsenal have been given a massive boost in their pursuit to sign RB Leipzig winger, Emil Forsberg after his agent admitted the player want to leave this summer.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga new boys after his impressive season with them last season, with reports that the likes of Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Liverpool have all expressed interest in the winger.
Recent reports have it that the Gunners and Bayern have tabled a £30million bid for Forberg which is believed to be the club’s valuation for one of their best players.
Forsberg was one of the key players for Leipzig, netting eight goals and 19 assists as they churned out of solid performances to stun many fans in Germany.
However, RB Leipzig will reluctant to allow the winger move to their league rivals, Bayern Munich and will prefer that he goes abroad, giving the duo of Arsenal and Liverpool a major boost ahead of the German giants.
The Gunners have now been handed a major boost in the transfer race, after tabling a £30 million bid after the agent claimed that Forsberg is keen on leaving this summer.
‘I will not comment on the clubs involved. There are big clubs who are very interested in Emil,’ agent Hasan Cetinkaya told Aftonbladet.
‘He has made history in Germany. Of course, you know RB want to keep Emil, you need to constantly make sure to make Emil satisfied.
‘He has paid back the club ten-fold. Maybe it’s time to test himself at a big club.’
