New Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been accorded the praise and glory for Arsenal’s revival and recent form.
Saturday’s 2-0 victory against Watford makes it seven consecutive League and Cup wins for the North London side and that is a lot to celebrate as it has not been experienced in a long while.
It was a slow start though for the Gunners having suffered two consecutive defeats in their first two games against Manchester City and Chelsea consecutively.
The resurgence of the team and most importantly, the individual rediscovery has been attributed to the good work on by the Spanish manager on the players.
Emery arrived the Emirates Stadium from PSG in the summer and he promised to work hard to ensure Arsenal is returned to glory days.
He had made it known that he would demand a lot of hard work from his players especially with his newly introduced pressing style of play.
This seems to be working perfectly for the former Sevilla manager as some players are beginning to be returning to good form.
The likes of Alex Iwobi and Mesut Ozil have been named as players who have been impacted by the manager.
Piers Morgan is one of those who pointed out the Spanish manager for praise, noting that Emery is responsible for the new fire seen in the former World Cup player.
Also, Alan Smith praised Emery for helping Iwobi rediscover the player he promised to be two years ago.
