Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid have reached an agreement over the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic.
The new development was revealed by Sky Sports on Thursday evening.
Luka Jovic is expected to leave Eintracht Frankfurt for Real Madrid this summer.
The Serbian international joined German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt from Benfica on a two-year loan deal in 2017 with the option of making the transfer permanent for just €7m.
Eintracht Frankfurt signed him permanently some weeks ago and the Serbian striker is expected to join Real Madrid later this summer.
Luka Jovic has been in sensational form for Eintracht Frankfurt this season after he scored 27 goals in all competitions this season including 17 goals in the top flight of German football.
The Serbian striker has scored 10 goals in the Europa League and he’s the joint topscorer alongside Chelsea star Olivier Giroud.
Luka Jovic was linked with a move to clubs like Liverpool, Barcelona and Chelsea but they will all miss out on him to outgoing European champions Real Madrid.
The Spaniards will rebuild their squad this summer ahead of next season and Luka Jovic is the second player to join the Los Merengues after FC Porto defender Edee Militao.
