Done Deal: Manchester United Agree Fee For Midfielder. He Is Set For Medicals!

Though Manchester United haven’t bring in any new player in the ongoing transfer session, the club has been actively involved in outgoing transfers this month.

Earlier this month, midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has left the Old Trafford club to join Everton and even last week, winger Memphis Depay have also completed a switch to Lyon. And this might not be the end. We might still see one or two more players -especially young academy or reserve players who are not getting regular games, who could also leave before the window closes – one of which could be Sean Goss.

Sky Sports reported  that Championship club Queens Park Rangers have agreed a £500,000 fee with Manchester United for the young midfielder. It was also added that he is in London to have a medical and discuss personal terms.

21-year-old Goss joined Man United from Exeter City in 2012. He is a versatile player who can play at left-back or in midfield and has also represented England at age-group levels.

Some compares him to Michael Carrick because of his passing ability in the U18s team. His progress was unfortunately hampered by injuries. However, he was still a part of their U-21 title-winning team in 2014-15.

Goss proceeded to made the first team bench in November 2015. He was however ruled out for the rest of the season as he suffered a serious injury in March 2016.

He eventually earned a call up to train with Jose Mourinho’s squad, though he is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Old Trafford club. QPR are presently 17th in the Championship and their hopes of avoiding relegation has been given a boost in recent weeks after they successfully amassed 10 points from their last four games.
