According to British media reports, Merseyside giants Liverpool will ask for a fee of about £15m if they are to offload forward Daniel Sturridge this summer transfer window.
Liverpool to offload star
The Daily Telegraph is claiming that Liverpool are set to sell their out of favour forward as they look to strengthen their team ahead of next campaign.
The same article says that La Liga side Sevilla are set to rekindle their interest in bringing in the Englishman, with Fenerbahce reportedly keen on a swoop for the forward.
The England international spent the second stanza of last term on loan to West Brom after the player was deemed surplus to requirements at Liverpool by German tactician Jurgen Klopp.
Forward could stay
The report says that the former Manchester City forward is currently billed to return to Anfield for pre-season training in July, but he himself knows that he is way behind about three players in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
The report also suggests, though, that the striker could opt to remain at the Merseyside club because his deal runs out next summer window, which means that he could depart for nothing then.
The Reds are thought to be in the market for a couple of new signings this summer window as Jurgen Klopp looks to assemble a team that will be good enough to win the Premier League title next term.
