Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has shown the desire to have a strong squad ahead of a busy campaign next season, and the German manager is actually making progress and has recently completed the signing of another player who have been linked with the club in recent times.
After all speculations, Jurgen Klopp’s side have officially completed the signing of Mohamed Salah from Roma for a club record fee of 37 Million Pounds, potentially rising to 43 Million Pounds.
Klopp has already shown that his club will get very busy this summer, and the signing of Salah represents his first major signing with him keen on bolstering his squad ahead of the reds return to the Champions League.
Back in 2014, the Egyptian almost complete a move to Anfield, but Chelsea were able to sign him from Basel. He however couldn’t find his feet at Stamford Bridge and was sent on loan to Fiorentina, where he was able to resurrect his career before making a permanent move to Roma.
The player shone at Roma and in the just concluded season, was able to score 19 goals with 12 assists in 41 appearances for the Serie A club.
He has now penned a five-year contract worth £90,000 a week, and has become the club’s most expensive signing in history after surpassing the £35M paid to Newcastle United for Andy Carroll in 2011.
