Done Deal! Arsenal complete summer move for 20-year-old forward

Arsenal attacker Kelechi Nwakali is prepared to join Portuguese side FC Porto on loan.

The 20-year-old forward was signed by the North London side back in 2016 but has not yet played for the senior team of the club.

Kelechi Nwakali has played the past two years on loan in Holland with VVV-Venlo and MVV Maastricht, netting eight goals in 64 matches.

But the Nigeria international forward is now ready to seal a shock transfer to the Portuguese outfit on loan and will start pre-season training with FC Porto.

It will be the midfielder’s third loan stint away from the North London club since he signed for them back in 2016.

Delighted youngster
Nwakali, while taking to Score Nigeria said he is delighted to join the best football team in Portugal and that he will make his loan from the North London side count.

He said he longed to feature regularly in a competitive league like the Portuguese league which this loan opportunity has handed him and promised to grab the chance with both hands.

The 20-year-old performed pretty well for the Super Eagles in an international friendly with La Liga side Atletico Madrid two months ago.
