Liverpool striker Divock Origi is hopeful that his contract talks with the Reds will be peaceful amidst the transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the club this summer.
Divock Origi could have left the club in the last two transfer windows with Wolverhampton Wanderers keen on a deal for him but he decided to stay and fight for a place in the Liverpool first team.
The Belgian international player talked about his long-term future in his recent interview via Goal as his country prepares for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Scotland.
Divock Origi joined Liverpool shortly after the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil.
He signed for the Reds from French Ligue 1 club Lille and was sent back on loan for the whole of the 2014/15 season.
Origi also spent some time on loan at VFL Wolfsburg last season before returning to Liverpool last summer.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed some form of a renaissance at Liverpool in this campaign after scoring some crucial goals to help the Reds lift their first Champions League title in 14 years.
Divock Origi scored three goals in the last two games in the Champions League including the clinching goal during the final clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
