Everton manager Marco Silva has urged the club to sign defender Kurt Zouma permanently this summer to ward off the interest of other interested sides.
This is according to the publication from the Liverpool Echo which claimed that the Everton boss had told the Toffees to turn the loan deal of two players to a permanent one this summer.
It was revealed that Marco Silva wants Kurt Zouma and Andre Gomes to stay at the club whom they joined on a season-long loan last summer.
Kurt Zouma signed for Everton on loan from fellow Premier League club Chelsea on the deadline day of last season, while Portuguese international Andre Gomes also joined the Toffees on loan from Spanish champions Barcelona on the same day.
French centre back Zouma had spent the last campaign on loan at Stoke City but he was unable to prevent the Potters from suffering relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season.
Kurt Zouma has been a key player for Everton this season but it remains to be seen whether the Toffees will be able to hold on to his services permanently.
His part at Chelsea could be blocked by the Blues decision to hand David Luiz a new contract.
