This is according to the publication from the Daily Star which claimed that Frank Lampard wants a free transfer move for Chelsea defender Gary Cahill.
The Derby County boss was instrumental to the return of former Chelsea teammate Ashley Cole to English football in January.

Lampard wants Cahill at Derby County if the Rams secure promotion to the Premier League next week Monday when they face Aston Villa in the English Championship Playoffs final.
Derby County qualified for that final by overturning a first leg deficit in a Championship Playoffs for the first time in the history of the competition.
The Rams lost the home leg 1-0 before they were able to turn the semifinal tie around via a 4-2 win at opponents Leeds United for a 4-3 aggregate victory.
Gary Cahill could join them if Premier League promotion is secured.
Cahill will leave Chelsea this summer after the expiration of his contract with the West Londoners.
