According to Spanish media reports, Champions League finalist Liverpool are ready to take Barcelona defender Yerry Mina on a season-long loan.
Liverpool agreed to deal to sign Barca man temporarily
As cited by the Daily Star, the Reds have already agreed to sign the 23-year-old temporarily for the whole of next campaign.
He joined the Catalan club from Brazilian side Palmeiras in January but he has only played five matches across all competitions for the Spanish La Liga side.
The Colombian is touted to leave the La Liga side at the end of the campaign as Barcelona look to hand him regular playing time.
And as per the latest reports in the Spanish media, Anfield seems to be his next destination.
Liverpool spent big on reinforcement
The Reds spent hugely on strengthening their defense in the winter transfer window as they paid a whopping £75m to bring Virgil van Dijk from Southampton FC.
And Liverpool could well be in the market for defensive options this summer transfer window as manager Jurgen Klopp looks to build a squad capable of challenging for the title next campaign.
The Merseysider’s are currently getting prepared for their last Premier League match of the campaign – a home encounter against Brighton.
