The Daily Mirror is claiming that Liverpool have not yet submitted an official bid to land the 24-year-old despite the rumour in recent days.

Liverpool ended the campaign in disappointing style when they were defeated 3-1 by La Liga giants Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final.
