Arsenal are thought to have upped their bid to land Bayer Leverkusen safe hand Bernd Leno ahead of the summer transfer window.
Leno linked with Napoli move
The Germany international shot-stopper had been touted to make the move to Serie A side Napoli, but negotiations are thought to have hit the rock, with Leno’s agent recently suggesting there are ‘other teams’ vying for the player’s signature.
German news publication, Bild, suggests Arsenal have commenced talks with the 26-year-old goalkeeper, who is believed to want a new challenge after seven seasons with Bayern Leverkusen.
