Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has hinted that he is not considering a return to the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season as he hopes to remain at the Italian Serie A outfit Napoli on a permanent deal when his loan spell expires.
The fine stopper had to leave the Emirates Stadium as a result of his lack of playing time, after the Gunners brought in Bernd Leno from German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen in the last summer transfer window to compete with legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech at the club.
There is no doubt that David Ospina does not fancy a return to the Emirates Stadium for a bench role, knowing that Bernd Leno will remain the first choice despite the fact that Petr Cech would be retiring at the end of the season for a possible coaching role.
However, the Colombian stopper has been backed by manager Carlo Ancelotti to remain at the club by the coming season despite his shortage of playing time but for his importance to the team.
Meanwhile, the Gunners team are yet to make a decision public on their plans for David Ospina, knowing that they would be in need of a stopper should the former Chelsea goalkeeper leave at the end of the season.
