Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is said to be open to the idea of playing in the Major League Soccer (MLS) upon the expiration of his contract with the Reds this summer.
England international star Sturridge can follow in the footsteps of ex-international teammate Wayne Rooney in leaving the Premier League for the MLS.
Rooney left Everton to join LA Galaxy last year and the aforementioned Sturridge can emulate that when his Liverpool contract ends.
He has just six months left on his current deal with Liverpool meaning that he can start to speak with foreign clubs including MLS sides about a potential free transfer.
The possibility of Liverpool offering him a new deal at Anfield has not been ruled out as well.
Daniel Sturridge has played second fiddle to the fearsome Liverpool attacking trio of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
The ex-Chelsea and Manchester City striker has not had much playing time to work within the colors of Liverpool this season due to the form of the above mentioned Reds front three.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will let him leave the club whether in January or in the summer following the recent departure of Dominic Solanke to Bournemouth.
