Confirmed! United extends player’s contract, announcement imminent

An official announcement is being awaited to confirm that Manchester United have been able to tie down French striker Anthony Martial with a contract extension.

The former Monaco man had earlier insisted on leaving the club especially after he fell out with former Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho as he felt not being regarded.

However, the French man now looks settled at the club and he has been convinced by the club to remain for a longer period, having identified him as part of the club’s future.

Latest reports have it that a new agreement has been reached with the French man which will have him sign a contract extension until 2024.

This was first revealed by RMC journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi who made it known via a Twitter post.

Meanwhile, the report claims that Martial is currently having life good at the Old Trafford with his teammates and has hinted that he has got the support of the club to help improve in his game.

Anthony Martial, therefore, stated that he has been receiving support and advice from the interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has asked him to always play with his strength as this has helped him to avoid playing under pressure.
