Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been appointed as the new Inter Milan manager ahead of the new season scheduled for August.
His appointment was confirmed by the Italian Serie A giants earlier on Friday.
The Italian tactician replaces compatriot Luciano Spalletti who was sacked by Inter Milan on Thursday evening after a topsy-turvy season at the San Siro.
Luciano Spalletti led Inter Milan to fourth spot at the end of the season but it was not enough for him to keep his job as the Nerazzuri boss.
Antonio Conte has signed a three-year deal with Inter Milan until the end of the 2021/22 season.
His last job as a manager at Chelsea whom he left last summer following his dismissal.
Conte was sacked after he fell out with the Chelsea hierarchy and after failing to secure Champions League football for the Blues at the end of last season.
He spent two seasons and bowed out with the FA Cup title via a 1-0 win over Premier League rivals Manchester United during the 2018 FA Cup final.
Antonio Conte had earlier won the Premier League title in his first season at the club.
Before his appointment as the Chelsea manager in 2016, he had led Juventus to the three successive league titles between 2012-2014 and also led the Italian national team to the quarterfinals at Euro 2016.
