Arsenal have confirmed the coming of Central defender Janni Arnth Jensen to the club’s women team.
The experienced Danish international has been representing Denmark at the senior level since 2010 having played for her country as the U7, U19 and U23 level.
Jenson has won league titles in both the Danish League and the Swedish League as well and she hopes to have the same for the Gunners women after spending four years with Linkopings.
Arsenal female team head coach Montemurro told the club’s official site that he has been able to acquire an experienced professional who will be very important to the team.
The North London boss, therefore, expressed delight on having her on their side as well as working together to help the Gunners women win more titled and compete against the big names in the league.
However, it is uncertain if the male Arsenal team will have funds available ahead of the winter transfer window which would be opened in the coming months.
The club’s chief has already hinted that there might not be funds available for deals in the winter window as he noted that they had already recruited some players in the summer and might wait until another summer window to do business except for cases of emergencies.
