Aston Villa star player Jack Grealish has been heavily linked with a move away from the club after he emerged as a target for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
The 22-year-old has been consistently in the news in recent times as a result of the Red Devils’ interest in his signature. The Old Trafford club have expressed interest in signing him after Micheal Carrick hung his boots some days ago.
However, the latest speculation circulating in the media about him is that Aston Villa won’t sell him unless they receive £40million for his signature this summer.
The Villa Park club failed to gain promotion back into the PL this season and are in need of cash to get things balanced at their side.
And the Daily Mirror made it known that they are determined to keep hold of Jack and won’t sell him for a fee below £40M.
Manchester United are trying to sign a replacement for Michael Carrick who retired at the end of the term.
Although Brazilian midfielder Fred is getting closer to completing a move to Manchester United, the premier league heavyweights are poised to sign a second midfielder that can fill any void Marouane Fellaini could open.
The Belgian star has failed to sign a new deal with the club and is expected to leave Old Trafford any time soon.
