Turkish club Antalyaspor are plotting a move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
The 24-year-old has only one year left on his current deal with the Gunners has been tipped to leave the club after several seasons marred by injuries and inconsistent displays.
It is understood that Wilshere is free to leave the club this transfer window following his season long loan move at Bournemouth which was also cut short by an injury that he is currently recovering from.
Few clubs in Europe have shown interest in signing the midfielder this summer, Antalyasor president Ali Safak Ozturk said as quoted by The Mail:”We made an enquiry and are in talks but Arsenal want a lot for Wilshere. It will be a difficult move to pull off.”
Serie A club Sampdoria also believed to be keen on signing Jack Wilshere but are unwilling to pay Arsenal’s valuation for the midfielder.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe who is said to be a keen admirer of the 24-year-old’s ability has not showed interest in signing the player this summer despite his comments regarding a move for him at the end of last season.
Arsene Wenger is understood to be requesting for inflated transfer fees for his fringe players as he hopes to trim down his squad and wagebill in order to accommodate new players.
